A nice walk

April 27, 2020

Golfed in the morning yesterday and added Eugene to our foursome.. Shopped at Sam's and waited in line a few minutes as they controlled the number of people inside. Still surprised by the number of people without masks. I asked one guy and his son to give me my 6 feet because they weren't wearing masks. His response was "If you aren't brave enough, maybe you should stay at home". He just doesn't get it and thinks it's all about him. You just can't fix stupid. I wear the mask for you, you wear the mask for me; as Margaret Meade alluded, caring for others is a sign of civilization. Checked out, as usual, with Scan and Go to avoid the checkout lines and common equipment. I sprayed around the house, especially by the windows, and our gnat problem seems to be over. At least, last night and so far tonight. Spent most of the day in Ancestry while Alesa cooked. We had to take a walk this afternoon for the mail and for some activity. My fitbit now connects to Strava so we can monitor our activity a little better. We did get our letter from the White House today and I surely hope it was paid for by the Chump campaign funds. At least he didn't take credit for the stimulus payments but the insinuations were pretty strong.
