Another great day of travel and the weather was beautiful. We drove down I-81 then on I-77 to Statesville, just north of Charlotte, and are camped at the KOA. We had a great dinner at the Golden Corral and are now relaxing in our 'home'. We have been on the road so much over the last 8 years that is is actually familiar and comfortable to be on the road again especially after the crazy last few weeks at 607. B.T.W. About 2 weeks ago Google stopped their locator service so the 'Trip Locator' tab on this blog no longer works.
