North East Cemetery

August 17, 2011

Saturday we went to the Erie Cemetery and took the walking tour of the notable Erie residents. It opened in 1850 and contained many of the 'movers and shakers' of the early Erie community. Many of the names we knew from schools, hospitals, businesses and history and it was interesting reading the history and connecting it together. Monday we went to North East and visited the graves of Alesa's mother, Aunt Helen, Uncle Paul and her niece Tracy Faye. We also went out to State Line and visited Laura's parents' graves. Tuesday night Becca had us over for dinner with her, Bob, Cathy and Caitlin.
