Arrived at the Outer Banks just after one and were able to check in early. We had a beachside motel and the kids headed directly to the ocean and they enjoyed playing in the waves. There was a bit of an undertow due to the high waves and the kids did well. But, I was keeping a close eye on them. We then headed out shopping and ate dinner and then back to the beach for some more waves and playing on the beach.
