We are back in Pa to visit family, attend Bailey's high school graduation, help Jeff and family move and drive one of his cars to Phoenix in a 'Great American Road Trip'. It will include Jeff and family, their two dogs, his mother-in-law and Alesa & I. It certainly be a grueling trip, but fun (we hope). We left a "hot" home on Wednesday morning and spent that night in Lumberton and arrived at Jeff's at around 4. The trip was somewhat uneventful except for an idiot in an 150 who passed us on the shoulder as I was returning to the right lane after passing a truck. If that wasn't enough, he pulled in front of me and hit his brakes hard causing the truck to have to swerve around us. Then as I signaled to get around him he pulled in front of me again and braked. He continued to do this a couple of times causing other traffic to pass us until we started taking pictures. Jeff's move all is settled on both houses so the Phoenix house will be available when we get there. They have already begun packing and have sold off much of their stuff. There was a neighborhood garage sale yesterday and they was able to sell all off his remaining non-moving stuff, a very positive event. While most things are in boxes we still have some furniture because he sold it with the house. Trailer comes on the 10th and we will begin loading. Leaving on the 13th or 14 and arriving in Phoenix on the 18th where they will sign papers and move in on the 19th.
