Philadelphia

October 6, 2011

We continue to work on the counter trim but still have to make a final decision on the backsplash. Alesa wanted to not have a backsplash but now thinks it might look too bare. I had a follow up cardiology appointment in Philadelphia so we drove in early and walked around Philadelphia for 4 hours (UPenn, 30th street station, Reading Terminal Market, Rittenhouse square and Schuylkill River Park. We went to my appointment and apparently the drug they had me on to steady my rhythm was working too well so they sent me to the emergency room and admitted me for observation. I was in the hospital for a night while they removed me from the medicine and monitored my heart. Everything went well and I am back home tonight. Kudos to Alesa for getting back and forth in the Philadelphia traffic. They even did another echocardiogram and determined that the mitral leak is not so bad, it probably looked worse because I was in AFib with a fast heart rate.
