We are all recovering from our maladies but the neighbors had to put their dog down, adding to the post-Easter Dafoe issues. We had a storm pass through last night and it blew down most of Alesa's cactus. She has replanted and propped up much of it and is offering the rest to the neighbors. Managed to get 9 holes in this morning but rain and lightning started just as we were finishing. A far away flash from an approaching storm sent Dan home after his tee shot landed on the eighth green. We posted a double bogey for him and a triple bogey on the 9th and returned his ball to him. The green on the first hole looked like a sculptured shag carpet. Not good for putting. The rest of the greens were good, not so much for our putting. We had a 9:26 tee time but went out early since most people cancelled due to the incoming storms. This let us to finish early but we had to clear a lot of wind blown debris off the greens, or at least off our putting lines. We did get 4 inches of needed rain.
