How could I forget one of the high points of the weekend?  Must be out of practice.  Bailey had a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card burning a hole in his pocket so we took a little trip to Main Street Exton.  On the way Bailey was talking (surprise, surprise) about how he always seems to get a slight headache when he rides in small cars.  He always seemed to get one in their Volkswagen and we had the Subaru.  We were musing over possibilities when I commented that he may have a little claustrophobia.  Without skipping a beat Bailey’s voice from the back seat said, matter of factly, “ No, I’m not afraid of Santa.”.   I must admit it took us a while to connect the dots, but when we were able, we got back on the road to Barnes and Noble.  It only took him and hour to pick his book with Nana but I was busy.   Bridget had $2.83 in cash and I had to read the price on every single kid’s book in the shop.  By the way, Barnes and Noble has nothing under $3.99.  Bridget is indignant over the price of books.  We picked up the rug and pad for the hallway and stairs at Home Depot today so it looks like I'll be busy.
