Pruners

November 16, 2014

As opposed to last week this was a very busy week. We were responsible for the subs, chips and veggie trays for the Erie Club meeting on Thursday night. We had a "Bunco" night and things went very well and everyone was well fed. My step-cousin, Larry, and his wife, Diane, attended since they were at their Villages house for a few weeks before returning to Erie until early next year. We will go to dinner with them tomorrow night. Jeff and Sharon Pruner, friends from Erie and Philadelphia, stayed with us Wednesday and Thursday night. They moved to Jacksonville a few years ago and this is the first time we have seen them since we moved down here. We went to the Brownwood Square entertainment one night then the Erie Club the next night. On Friday morning, the Kempfs, common friends, came over for a visit. Yesterday, Alesa had Dragon Boat races in Hernando and I volunteered to help. So they put me to work marshaling the races then directing traffic in the parking lot. They plum(b) wore me out. Alesa was worn out too so today, after we golfed, we are resting. Later we are headed out for some treats (TBD).
