Quesadillas

July 29, 2015

Yesterday, our last day at Mike's, we took the girls to Weldon's Soda Fountain next to the Keswick Theater. It's an old fashioned soda fountain and the girls both got root beer floats, I got an egg crème and Alesa ordered a soda. She must have forgotten that a soda in the Philly area is just a pop and complained that there was no ice cream in it. They were nice enough to give her some ice cream in her 'soda'. We had fajitas for dinner then the girls played rummy while Mike booked the girls' flight to spend a week with us in Florida at the end of August. We said goodbye to Mike and his family this morning and headed back to the Exton area where we stopped at the Hyundai dealer where we bought our car and had two recalls performed, the nitrogen topped off in the tires and the mileage validated for our gift card. Then to Jeff's and had the kids go with us to a Delaware Pep Boys to buy some LED lights for the golf cart. Then to Walmart to buy the fixings for quesadillas and sushi for dinner. Bailey in charge of the quesadillas and Bridget the sushi. Bailey prepared and Jeff grilled the quesadillas while Alesa helped Bridget make sushi. It was all great. They are now playing rummy and, I think, making up rules as they go.
