Range Day
Wednesday we went to the Philadelphia VA hospital and all is going well. That night Jeff called because Bailey wanted to Skype so he could show us how he was doing on his new drum set. Their neighbors have lent them a professional set of drums so Bailey could try them out. He took lesson one on the internet that day and is doing very well. Glad Skype has a volume control. Yesterday I decided to fix the burner on the range which had quit working just before we left for Maine. I have replaced both circuit boards in the past and was not included in a recall for one of them. I reinstalled the old cooktop control board to check the burner and took a picture in case I got confused as to where the wires went. Turns out the element was burned out so I've ordered a replacement. I called Frigidaire and found out we should have been covered by the old recall so they are sending a retrofit kit and refunding the amount we spent on the control board which will pay for the element. We watched "How to train your dragon" in 1080p from Direct TV. It was a great movie and the picture was great in 1080p. We played Mario Kart with Jeff & Bailey over the internet while they watched us being trounced on Skype. We also watched Bridget do 'rimshots' on the drums as her dad told one-liners. Today we had a 7 point buck eating the seeds under our birdfeeder.
