Had my Post-op Dr.'s appointment on Wednesday and he was surprised at how well I was doing. Most people come in still in pain and on pain meds. I haven't had any pain for two weeks now. I am cleared to swim, drive and ramp up my activity a bit. Only 8 or 9 weeks to go and I don't want to make the recovery any longer so I will be careful. Rebecca Wingebach was back in Florida over the weekend for a wedding (vow renewal, actually) so we went down to Craig and Janet's today for dinner and a visit. It was great to see Rebecca again and Zach, Cathy, Jaime, and Gabriel were there as well. Janet and Craig hosted a great event at their home and fixed an excellent meal and then the group played Chinese checkers. Except me as I opted to watch golf and play with the boys. Lucky for me the game can't have more than 6 players. A fun time with family. AND, I just noticed in the first picture; could Alesa be cheating while everyone else looked up to have their picture taken?
