Erie is having a three day event on the bayshore aimed at the motorcycle crowd.  It started with a ride, led by Peter Fonda, from the casino to Liberty Park.  We went downtown early for a chance to walk around.  We met the Selaney's (former neighbors) at Perry Square and caught up on old times.  The ride passed Perry Square for over 10 minutes.  2,000 riders donated $5 apiece for cancer research for the ride.  We visited the Perry statue on the east end of the park whose job, Alesa says, is to direct traffic around Perry Square.  We ended the night with a Blue Moon cone at the Whippy Dip.
