San Tan Mountain Park

June 23, 2019

This morning before the sun got too hot we headed out to San Tan Mountain park and hiked some of the easier trails. Alesa had bought some hiking boots to deal with the rocky trails and will leave them here for future treks since there is no real need for them in Florida. We were trying to kike on the mountain itself but it is part the Gila River Indian reservation and therefor off-limits. There were a number of smaller mountains in the park but we stayed mostly on the desert floor anyways. It was a great hike. Got back early enough to swim in the pool, shop for and erect a large gazebo to provide more sun coverage (and, as it turns out, bug protection), be here for the delivery of the couch and shop for pool supplies. A technician from the pool builder will be here in the morning to walk through everything pool related.
