Skidaway Island State Park (Savannah)

April 12, 2008

Skidaway Island State Park is a beautiful place, thanks to the Hayes for their recommendation.  Today was Earth Day at the park so we were busy watching the Native American Traditional Dancing, the birds of prey and visiting the vendor exhibits to include learning how to raise worms to getting our blood pressure and body density measured.   We walked about 5 miles around the park trails.   They have a 7 part geocache where you gather information on the trails to determine the combination to a box located in the park office.  We’ve determined the combination and may or may not go to the office.  Tomorrow we will go into Savannah for the day.  Alesa’s back is back (better).
