Last night was the Erie Club's annual Smith's hot dog night. We order hot dogs and have them shipped here to be grilled and served to the Erie Club member and guests for out February meeting. We order extra packages to keep frozen and sell at the end of the meeting. This year was particularly complicated because we need a bigger room than usual because of the popularity of that meeting. We did get a larger room but it turned out to be Ash Wednesday so we had to change it. Things seemed to work out OK although the crowd was smaller than expected. Craig and Janet joined us this year and Paul and Carol came as well. Paul lucked out because he and Carol were the first ones in line for food by the luck of the draw. Craig and Janet spent the night and we played 18 holes of Putt and Play before playing 2 hours of pickleball. They also wanted to play shuffleboard but after lunch, showers and some Olympics watching they were too tired and headed home. I went and swam some laps, granted fewer than normal but the cool water felt good on the sunburn from so much time outside.
