Still Busy
Played sand volleyball again last Tuesday but not yesterday since we had an Erie Club meeting and continue with water volleyball every day. We had a few cool days but it is getting warmer. They are making a lot of progress on the golf cart bridges crossing the highways between here and the new areas to the south. My sister Marilyn's birthday was the fourth and I called her early because she went to the casino with my sister Helen on the day and I didn't want to interrupt her fun. Watched the Dragon resupply mission launch on Friday night. Ronnie and Denny came on Saturday to stay for a few days between the times they are staying in condos. They had come from the Disney area and left today headed to the Miami area. Craig and Janet joined us that day for a family get together and a meal. While visiting Bob and Ann Goodman over Christmas we talked with the receptionist who happened to be heading to The Villages for the lifestyle visit so we told her to look us up, and she did just that. On Sunday we met and took her and her husband for a short tour and answered a lot of their questions over dinner. Last night, Larry brought over his motorcycle jack and came to see our new counters before heading to the Erie Club meeting. March is usually a 'show' meeting and we had an entertainer, Joe Beddia, who sang, played instruments and told jokes in the character of "The Godfather". He ended the evening with a 5 to 10 minute monologue as George Carlin. It was hilarious and he had me all but rolling in the aisles.
