Strava

We continue to walk every day. We walk the neighborhood and have started walking golf courses that are closed for repair. They close a few for a couple of days each week so they have a chance to recover from constant traffic and to repair any damage. Each course is a one and a half to a two mile walk. We track our walks on my fitbit which transfers the map view to Strava. We golfed on Sunday but fitbit requires the GPS on my phone so if I get too far away it can't properly track. So Sunday's walk with the golf cart and GPS separation anxiety shows a very interesting route although generally accurate. Thursday night I Zoomed with an army buddy whom I haven't contacted in about 35 years. It was great fun catching up. Alesa took the day off from gardening today to recover from a sore thumb so we took two walks. One to the Rohan area to check out a pizzeria and the bridge which is scheduled to be installed across route 44 in the next few days. The second was on one of our favorite courses, Sandhill. We checked out the Rohan pool today because they started opening things up. There was only one swimmer in the pool and we talked with the two people they had on hand to check you in and monitor compliance with the rules, sounds like they mean business: Yay! We also checked out the library. It's in the same building as the county offices which are not accepting walk in traffic but do have a drive up window. The library was not too crowded but the traffic for the window circled through and out of the parking lot.
