Last night we set up camp at Lanier’s on the Intercoastal Waterway in Surf City.  Today we walked the beaches on Topsail Island and watched the aircraft from Camp Lejeune fly up and down the coast.  We spent the evening with Danny and Becky Wiest at their home on the island and then at the Crab Pot for dinner.  Danny is a neighborhood family friend from 29^th Street in Erie.  It was great to see Danny and Becky again, they were fantastic hosts and we wish them the best of luck in their new area and in their new home now being built.   We would also like to thank their oldest daughter, Sara, for her service in Iraq with the US Air force and congratulate their youngest daughter, Anna, for earning her multi-engine rating today at Kent State.
