Tres Grand Vitesse, the high speed train. Woke up extra early this morning to have our luggage outside our door by 6AM. At 9:45 we took a bus to the Lyon train station for a 2 hour 12 minute trip to Paris 290 miles away. It was a fast trip through beautiful countryside and following it on Google Maps and Waze I saw speeds up to 177 miles an hour. Arriving at Gare d'Lyon train station in Paris, we took the bus to our new ship in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. The bus drove along the Seine so from the east side to the west side we saw many of the Paris landmarks.
