For a few days, the Villages Model Train Club is displaying multiple layouts at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center. While Alesa was working on Christmas cookies and has absolutely no interest in model trains, I took the golf cart up and toured their displays. It was set up in about half a dozen rooms with all gauges represented. It is an awesome display and even has a complete layout reflecting the Wildwood train yard circa 1959 built by a gentleman who worked there at the time. Seems our town was quite a hub back then.
