Trip North

Busy times preparing for our month-long trip north. Left Sanford on the auto-train around 5PM yesterday, arrived in Lorton around 9:30AM this morning and arrived at Mikes around 2. Had a room on the train and a nice evening meal. A good breakfast in the morning and a hectic drive through DC to Mike's. Traffic was very heavy, but it kept moving. Took Mike and Annika out to dinner at their favorite restaurant, Vintage and played some miniature golf. A short rain during our round but we took shelter under a replica water tower. Early to bed after a couple of long days.
