V2 Rocket and a Happy New Year
Craig brought me a rocket when he and Janet came up for Christmas Eve and I finally found some time to build it. I wasn't going to bother to paint it but had some leftover spray paint and while it isn't perfect it doesn't look too bad. I told Craig it was done so they will be coming up on Monday to help us launch it. Hopefully we'll get a chance to fly the drone as well. And NO, I am not going to try and shoot it down. As another activity, Alesa made beef jerky in our air fryer yesterday and it is very good. Our new oven also has a dehydrate setting so we will try to make jerky with it as well. (Also dry some fruit) The weather has turned warmer so the rides home from water volleyball are a lot more comfortable. The frost has killed the tomato plant but the peas are doing great. I pick and eat at least a half a dozen every day. The rabbits have discovered the peas and have chewed off the branches they can reach through the fence but, for now, I will share. When I plant my next 'crop' in the spring I'll make the fence circle a little bigger. That is, if my peas are still in the Master Gardener's (Alesa) plan.
