Zuma

January 7, 2018

We are back to golf today. It got to 40 last night, to 64 today and it was 54 and sunny when we went out at 10. It was a fun day but not a good day for golf, as I think I was in every sand trap on the course. Dan, one of our regulars is working in Jacksonville and Atlanta for the next three weeks so Len's wife, Roberta, joined us in his place. Watched the football games this afternoon and the Zuma launch tonight at 8. It was a military satellite on a Falcon 9 rocket. Night launches are pretty and we even saw the separation of the first and second stage as well as the re-entry burns of the first stage as it headed back for a successful landing at the cape. There seemed to be a lot more going on when the stages separated so I hope the satellite deployed OK.
