Christmas Lights

December 5, 2015

Golfed at Sandhill on Sunday. Been golfing only on Sunday for the last month as we are busy with other activities. Craig and Janet stopped over that evening after meeting with their finance guy, our friend Jim Miller the CPA who was a Gannon professor. Had dinner at the Maloney's on Monday night. Tuesday Alesa paddled and I put up Christmas lights then went for a motorcycle ride before platform tennis. The weather has turned cooler so I could wear jeans, a jacket and riding boots. Also power washed the driveway to eliminate the truck stains. That evening we went to dinner with Paul and Carol at the Cane Garden country club for the December birthdays (Paul the 1st and Alesa the 15th). Then they came over for drinks and watched Alesa put the Christmas tree up in the lanai. Wednesday we met Steve and Jackie at the tree lighting ceremony in Lake Sumter Landing and wound our way through the highly decorated neighborhoods on the way home.. Thursday Alesa paddled, went to a ukulele session and then to her tap class. I cycled, shopped and swam laps. Yesterday Alesa had an interview at the hospital for volunteering and I had a Dr.s appointment for my back, all is well, sore but well. Then we went with Mike, Janie and Lois to Toojay's to celebrate all 3 ladies' birthdays before heading over for the tree lighting ceremony at Brownwood. I must still have northern blood because it was 65 degrees and windy and everyone was bundled in sweatshirts and coats while I was quite comfortable in sandals, shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Today Alesa paddled then we went up to a Florida Lottery 'shindig' at Lake Sumter. Bought $10 dollars worth of tickets and won $8. Plus, we got a few freebies but left to minimize the amount of 'junk' we would bring home. Then shopping at Walmart for a steam mop so I can now get busy and mop the tile. Also added some pictures to this post from Craig and Janet's open house from facebook.
