Our first hurricane and it went north of us and made landfall last night but it did spawn a tornado about 20 miles south of us. Little effect until the bands of rain hit us today. Not bad but very interesting. We'd get a 5 minute downpour with moderate winds, then it would calm and the sun would come out until we got another 5 minute storm and so on. Craig and Janet were supposed to come up today for pickleball but didn't because of the rain. So we painted the entryway instead. It was a long put-off job but we are done. Craig and Janet did come up last weekend for pickleball and we took Connie out golfing on Monday but got rained out on the second hole. We will try again tomorrow. Was going to watch the launch tomorrow morning but it blew up during a test firing yesterday so I get to sleep in.
