Muhly Grass

October 16, 2016

You know it's October in Florida when the top of the Muhly Gras turns pink (actually a red/purple). It's all over the place and very pretty when the sun shines on/through it. Alesa got a clean bill of health on her follow up visit with the doctor. She finished the antibiotics so she is cleared for physical activity. That means platform tennis and we played this morning just after our round of golf. I started physical therapy for my back last week. Hopefully surgery wont be needed. Also got my Prevnar-13 shot at the VA. Thursday night was Ox Roast night at the Erie Club meeting. We had about 90 attendees which is a large crowd for the October meeting since most are not back here yet. The club is getting larger and we have had to move to larger rec centers for the Jan, Feb and March meetings. Last February we had 150 people for the Smith's hot dog meeting and the room's legal capacity was 120; oops.
