Yard Work
Still golfing every day this week except for Wednesday when we went to Gainesville for my Pre-op visit at the doctors and the hospital. At the doctors they reviewed what they were going to do and built me a back brace. At the hospital were vitals, a blood test, an EKG, a chest x-ray, a staph test, a review with a hospital doctor and instructions. We also stopped at Dunkin Donuts, Bass Pro Shop, Gander Mountain and Sam's Club on the way home. And Cici's Pizza for a late lunch. Bought Alesa a wheelbarrow and she has been putting it to good use. Friday we bought some tomato and pepper plants as well as a Big Bag Bed Mini to plant them in. We are still experimenting on what, how, when and where to plant vegetables here in FL. I had to stop drinking alcohol as of 8 this morning and can't eat or drink after midnight. We leave tomorrow at 4:30 to arrive by 6 for an 8 AM surgery. It's an hour and a half surgery and I expect to be home on Wednesday. Dr. Stevenson will be doing an L4-L5 laminectomy and spinal fusion at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. They have a Surgi-Trak system so they will be texting or e-mailing status of the procedure to some family and friends.
