This afternoon we went to 'The Sharon' a high end theater on the Spanish Springs town square which brings in big name and fine arts type entertainment. Today was a reception and a show by Rick Thomas, a well known magician. It was a very entertaining show. It was hosted by The Villages Recreation Department as a thank you for all the leadership volunteers in the many lifestyle clubs. I believe we were invited because of our position on the Erie Club board, but it could have been for a couple of other involvements as well. The Sharon was built a year ago and we had not been there yet so it was good to see this very nice facility.
