Back to the "Grind".
Pretty much unpacked the night we got back. Had my annual blood test at the VA on Friday and we did a lot of grocery shopping. Also had two of Alesa's rings enlarged since they were getting too hard to get on and off. Saturday we were back at water volleyball and Sunday, after wishing Bailey a Happy Birthday, we were back on the golf course. Notice in the picture, Alesa and I both hit the green and got pars on the 8th hole at Truman. Monday I was back running the weekly neighborhood Bocce and Shuffleboard games and Jeff called to say he got his car back from the shop. A two car family again and Bridget can get back to practice driving again . Tuesday Alesa had the annual Dafoe Terrace ladies luncheon at the 'Red Sauce' restaurant in Lake Sumter Landing while I was at a colonoscopy follow-up appointment. All is well for another 3 to 5 years. Today we played 4 hours of water volleyball. The days have been warm, high 70s low 80s, but it cools down after the sun goes down. Most people are wearing wet suits to play, especially during the 3 to 5 session. BTW, Alesa stove her finger playing volleyball on Saturday and the newly enlarged rings did not fit. Not to worry, they fit again yesterday; until the next time.
