Happy Halloween. Bought candy today just in case we get some visitors tonight, Haven't had any trick-or-treaters for the last 8 Halloween nights but that insures a lot of leftovers. Have almost 27,000 miles on our golf cart and I finally replaced all 4 tires as they were getting pretty bald and were losing traction on wet pavement. Continuing to slowly open things up around here. Going from 4 to the 6 full courts for water volleyball on Monday. The golf holes and flags are back to normal and the rakes are back in the sand traps. The problem is that many people are ignoring the distancing requirements. Hoping for the best. Getting cooler here. Down into the 60's in the morning. Even saw some 40's in next week's forecast. Planted peas a week or so ago and they have sprouted and are growing nicely. This an experiment to test the growing season in the winter. We would have been in Vivier, France today on the 12th day of our 14 day cruise on the Seine and the Rhone. It will have to wait until next year. Miss the family terribly even while keeping in touch. Trying to plan some visits, Mike for Thanksgiving and Jeff for Christmas but we must remain safe, so we will see.
