We had a great Thanksgiving and hoping you had the same. Even though we could not be with the family we did have great zooms with them. A long zoom with Mike & family on Wednesday and a Thanksgiving zoom with Mike & family and Jeff & family who joined in with his phone while at a friends party. On Wednesday we received a package from Mike and it contained a "Magic" puzzle and a folder with pictures that each had drawn of themselves. On each picture was a sticker with a QR code. When the code was scanned it brought up a webpage containing a video message containing a Thanksgiving message from them. It was an awesome experience and it made for a very bearable 'family-less' holiday. We thank them very much. I've included the pictures and the QR codes are scannable if enlarged. On the homefront we had a few (4) neighbors over for a Thanksgiving dinner. Al and Ginny from next door and Vicky and Dana from two houses down. The have been very careful and we were careful during the visit with a lot of use of internally sanitizing alcohol. Craig and Janet were going to attend but they opted out on the safe side. We will have them over in a few weeks for a makeup dinner. We had a great time and the meal was excellent. The ladies slow cooked one turkey and smoked another and everyone copiously contributed to the dinner. It was absolutely the best use of a bad situation for all three families.
