Farmer Mike
Today we all went out to Mike's soon-to-be-purchased property. He will close on the property in a few weeks but since all the requirements are being met he has permission to visit and begin some yard work. Taking advantage of a couple of aged migrant workers from Florida we weeded and mowed his blueberry patch. It is fenced and was overgrown but now it looks very nice and the 'dandelion guild' did a great job as there is not a speck of yellow remaining in the patch. He still has to finish reinstalling the fence. He has blueberries, raspberries, apples, peaches, cherries, pears and persimmons on the property. We all got to explore the property and it was a great way to visit with Mike, Lisa and Annika. I finished the visit by flying my drone and taking a few pictures. It was windy but I managed to get a decent video which I will post on YouTube. Tonight it included roasting marshmallows and fire popped popcorn.
