Drove to NY today to visit with Craig and Janet who are renting a cottage on Chautauqua Lake for a few weeks. Took the opportunity to walk around the Ripley house and was surprised by the size of the pine trees Alesa used to leapfrog when she was younger and by the sad state of the house itself. We drove back to Erie on route 5 and to Bob and Cathy's. Caitlin, Tim and Owen came over to celebrate Caitlin's birthday. Won't get to see Becca and her family on this trip because they just flew to Florida.
