On Tuesday Alesa put up the Christmas tree.  Actually she put up 2/3 rds of the Christmas tree.  We took the middle section out of one of our artificial trees and put it on an end table so there would be less to decorate.  But our Christmas shrub looks just fine.  We celebrated our family Thanksgiving yesterday.  It works well because the kids don't have to coordinate with the in-laws because they always seem to celebrate at different times so one family is arriving while the other leaves early giving us a little rushed time to celebrate together.  The cousins played together so well and we got a chance for a good visit with the adult kids.  It was another enjoyable and thankful Thanksgiving.  Jeff is sore and still recovering from last week's hernia surgery so we were happy to be able to get everyone together.  Today we shared the day next door with Ken and Sue Schwed and their family and friends.
