Last full day in Florida

March 27, 2013

We rented a golf car and drove around to get the true 'Village' experience. It went down to 36 last night and to 66 during the day so we dressed warmly. We visited open houses for our two favorite models, the Elm and the Iris. It will be Alesa's pick and she likes the Elm but I keep the Iris in the mix because of the golf car garage. Carol met us at the open houses. We then drove to Sumter Landing and had lunch at Panera's. On our way to Spanish Springs Paul called as he and Carol were out on their golf car so we waited for them and they gave us the grand golf car tour of The Villages. We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant then back to their house for wine and good-byes. We then returned the rental and headed back to the trailer. We leave tomorrow morning and will camp in Woodbine, GA on Thursday, Charlestown, SC on Friday, Ft.Chiswell, VA on Saturday (@ I-77 and I-81) then Waynesboro, VA on Sunday to visit with Alesa's Hulvey cousins. We will either spend a second night there or stop in New Market, VA before returning home on Tuesday. That is our plan and we hope the weather and the Fates cooperate.
