Today is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year although yesterday seemed like it. After giving our thanks and bidding our farewells to Paul and Carol we hit the road at 7AM. We arrived home at 10:30 stopping only for breakfast, fuel, coffee and pit stops (939 miles with 14:30 engine run time). Alesa drove from Florence to mid Virginia and we were happy for the extra daylight to get through DC before dark. The evening before we left we did drive over to our lot in Paul's golf car to toast the sunset (me with Chivas Regal and Alesa with Jameson). We have our new address and Paul and Carol will get the key to our box when it is assigned. We had a house showing this morning so we got up early to clean the house and mow the lawn.
