Rocky and the Rollers

October 17, 2013

Forgot to mention that we got our names on our golf cart the other day. It's more of a courtesy to the other residents because you meet so many people it's hard to remember names and since everybody drives golf carts it like wearing name tags. (No! It has nothing to do with age.) We drove the cart up to Sumter Landing Town Center this evening for the town market and the entertainment. We met a number of our neighbors there and had a great time, it was mobbed. It was a combination of a wedding reception, bugging State and being back in college. A lot of people were driving around in their tricked out golf cars ( some looked like semi's, taxis, rolls royces, fire trucks) not to mention the real vettes, mustangs, etc. Rocky and the Rollers played all the favorite dance tunes and even some of the not-so-favorites. We were thinking we might visit the kids one more time in Mt Dora before they headed back home but Alesa didn't want to have to say good-bye twice since once was hard enough.
