Last Vegas
Last night we went to dinner and then to see 'Last Vegas' with neighbors. A great time and the movie was very good. I especially liked how the 'older' audience of The Villages appreciated the 'geriatric' humor. I am not sure the younger audiences will get it. Today we went to Katie Bells for the breakfast buffet then to Brownwood for the farmers market. There was a chill in the air but we enjoyed the golf car ride to the extreme ends of The Villages. Tuesday, our next door neighbor organized a game day and we all went to the local rec center and played shuffleboard, bocce and corn hole. We have started riding our bicycles, I swim laps in the morning (the water's warm but the air cold so no one else is in the pool except to sit there and watch the sun rise in their hoodies), I am riding my motorcycle (with a helmet but in shorts) and appreciate the free dermabrasion I get on my arms and legs every time I pass an oncoming truck)and Alesa continues dragon boat rowing. She has a race in Hernando next weekend. John and Donna Diewald will be coming for a visit today. They were camping at Disneyworld and will store their RV for a few days and stay with us with their granddaughter. Tracy will also be stopping on their way home from Annie's basketball game in Talahassee. We are getting ready to golf with our neighbors, Dan and Dale, we golf with Dan every Sunday but this will be Dale's first time on a Villages course.
