We drove home yesterday, a day earlier than planned but we wanted to beat some of the traffic and let the kids get on with their holidays. I-95 in South Carolina was still a parking lot so it took a little longer than expected. We left before 7 AM and arrived home at 11:45 last night. Alesa always likes to leave earlier than planned because she hates goodbyes and that cuts back on the anticipation time for the goodbyes. I guess that makes sense but who am I to argue. We spent Thursday night with the Schweds and enjoyed their company and their new 'guest quarters'. We spent Friday with Mike and family then to Jeff's to spend the night, since he is about 65 miles closer to Florida. Alesa practiced her ukulele and I helped Jeff and Bailey build a table for B's new slot car track. Not many pictures because I've got a bad card in my phone and have been unable to download them. Alesa has caught a cold so today will be a recovery and football day. Go Eagles!
