Trip North
We had another great few days with Craig and Janet when they stopped on their way back home from Ripley. We played pickleball, platform tennis and swam to relieve the heat and wore each other out. They even took a paddle lesson with us. We had a tee time on Friday night so they left that evening to spend the weekend with Zach and his family. We left Wednesday morning at 5 AM and headed north. 930 miles and 15 hours later we arrived at Jeff's and had a great reunion. Now we are looking forward to seeing Mike and the girls. Today we played tennis with Bailey and Bridget, had lunch, had the car looked at and bought some. I had planned to have the nitrogen topped off in the tires and have the odometer reading validated for our mileage reimbursement when we came North. This morning, by pure coincidence, "tire problem" was lit on the dashboard so we decided to stop rather than later. Turned out to be no problem. Last week my sister, Helen, sent some old picture of me and my brothers and one of the whole family and some of Paul's family which I scanned. Now off to make the best of our visit before heading off to Erie on Wednesday.
