Tonight, the "Help Hospitalized Veterans" organization sponsored a concert by the Jefferson Starship which was free to all veterans and their guests. The group provides free hobby kits to veterans with medical conditions and handed out many tonight. They will even send a monthly kit to your home but I am not quite ready for that therapy. We had dinner at the Maloney's then we all went to the concert. It was a great time and the band was awesome. The event also highlighted the 'Vietnam War Commemoration' for the 50th anniversary of the war and to honor the veterans who served during that period and were pretty much ignored if not denigrated at the time. The snowbirds continue to head back north. Yesterday, we had dinner with Fred and Cathy in Clermont as they will be heading back to Erie tomorrow and we will be having lunch with Ed and Ann tomorrow before they leave on Friday.
