Cinco de Mayo

May 6, 2015

Alesa has been drumming for the Silver Dragon race team and has been 'paddling' six days a week. She just quit the TBR team so is down to 3 days plus races. Now she is looking for new activities, that girl just won't quit. Sunday there was a race in Clermont. Alesa has been having some indigestion (?) so the doctor recommended some tests just to be sure it wasn't a heart issue. Yesterday she had a stress test and came out 'as healthy as a horse'. I had my annual checkup yesterday as well and came out pretty much the same. Sunday we golfed ( with a lot of juvenile wildlife filled with the joys of spring) and, that evening, had our semi-annual 'gilly-games' get-together. We had a ventriloquist who was pretty good but we have seen him before. We finally broke down and bought a gas grill since we have been using the small portable charcoal one we used in the trailer. We haven't been grillers but plan to do more. We have big plans but we'll see. My only problem was that I get a 10% veterans' discount at Home Depot but was told that Weber did not support it so we had to pay full price. We didn't do anything special on the 5th, just healthy stuff, we didn't even drink the margaritas that are in the refrigerator.
