We are just outside Tampa near the intersection of I-4 and I-75 at a gigantic RV dealer and park.  The park has everyyhing you could want in an RV park, including free breakfast and lunch.  Because of an introductory offer for first time visitors, the stay was free, my favorite part.   On Valenti

Yesterday we drove to Orange Lake and the Grand Lake Golf & RV Resort between Gainesville and Ocala.  A very nice place with very large lots and all the amenities.  Alesa used the exercise room this morning and came back full of joy.  A little less joy might be good.  We were expecting storms

We got to the Tallahassee RV park yesterday afternoon.  It is a very nice park just off I-10 and is managed by a prison chaplain from New Zealand.  Alesa finally got to a Publix so she just had to buy a key lime pie.  Today we went downtown and visited the Florida History Museum, walked around th

Today we went into NOLA because we had to see it.  We have been there a number of times but not during Mardi Gras or since Katrina.  We walked Canal Street, the riverfront, Jackson Square and the French Quarter, especially Bourbon Street.  We had cafe au lait and beignets and ate lunch at Pat O'B

Saturday was a day of rest while the Groundhog worked.  Thanks to everyone for all the G'hog day best wishes.  When Bill Murray says "Why couldn't that be Groundhog Day?", well for Alesa and I all of the days continue to be great.  On Sunday we went to another Hoama Mardi Gras parade.  We now hav
