We made it to Naples at about 3:30 yesterday after stopping at the outlets and BJ's on the way down. We were pretty beat so it was early to bed.
Trip Log
This morning we relaxed and got ready to move down to Craig and Janet's. Tomorrow we will take the trailer to storage in Bushnell at $26.75 per month and then head out to Naples. This afternoon we toured a little and then off to Paul and Carol's for dinner.
This morning we walked, swam, did laundry and investigated the three hole golf course on the resort. This afternoon we met again with Mitzi and changed our mind again and are now favoring the Elm. We also looked at available lots.
This morning we met with our realtor and visited a half a dozen homes to better define our wants/needs. Tonight we will go out to dinner with Paul and Carol and meet with Mitzi again tomorrow afternoon.
This morning we moved down the road to the 1,000 Palms RV Resort and registered for 4 nights.
Left St. Augustine this morning and traveled across Florida to The Villages. We settled into the 3 flags RV resort and then were able to meet with our realtor, Mitzi. We set up appointments for tomorrow and then had dinner at Paul and Carol’s.
This morning the Pruners came down from Jacksonville and we went for breakfast at Georgio's Diner in town and caught up on old times. We then walked around the St. Augustine Flea Market which is located next to the campground.
Today we arrived at the St. John's RV Park, shopped at the outlets and then drove down to Ormond Beach to visit with Betsey, her daughter Jennifer and her sister Mary who is visiting from Ripley. The weather has become cool and may even hit freezing the next few nights before it gets warmer.
Today we arrived in Brunswick, GA and are camped at the Golden Isle RV Park. Included is a picture of Annika's birthday party, we went over to visit last Sunday as she was turning 11 the next day.
We left Carolina Crossroads RV Resort at about 11 and had a Valentine Day lunch at Denny's at the Flying J about midway through North Carolina. We are now spending the night at the South of the Border Campground just inside South Carolina. It is the consummate tourist trap but very nice.
