Today we have an open house and we have a buyer for the boat and trailer who is coming this morning to take it. The garage is as empty as it has been since the day we moved in some 25 years ago. Stress levels remain high and we continue to clean, straighten and stage like madmen.
Trip Log
We have been showing the house and the stress level remains high. The broker open house was on Wednesday and we meet with the realtor this morning to get the feedback. This evening we take Annika to see Pinocchio at the Arden theater for her birthday weekend.
We put the house on the market and then started getting ready for pictures to be taken on Monday and for Tuesday when the realtors will go through the house.
Last Christmas, Mike and family gave me a brick to be placed with other bricks in a memorial park at their neighborhood park. Actually it was a picture of a mock-up of the brick to be engraved.
Goodmans came over this morning and we discussed our Florida plans then took a long walk and back for lunch. We then went over to Mike's to catch up, watch the Masters, eat chicken wings and drink wine.
Went to Jeff's today since Bailey had a lacrosse game. It was a good game but they lost in overtime. It was breezy and cold but warm enough when the sun came out from behind the clouds.
The weather was sunny and 87 this week and everything bloomed but it was 39 this morning and the blooms are shivering. We continue to focus on our upcoming move, getting the Brecknock house ready to sell and scheduling the design meeting for the Dafoe house.
This morning we had breakfast with Mike, Lisa, Elyse and Annika then went to the pool while they had a morning swim. It was about 63 this morning so we took a short ride on the peninsula. We stopped to walk the beach and inspect the high ice still on the rock pile jetties.
The wedding was at St. Luke's and the reception at the Union Station, the old Erie railroad station converted to a bar, restaurant and hall. It is a very nice venue and everyone had a wonderful time, we danced 'til 10 and talked even later.
We are in Erie for my niece, Rebecca's wedding to Jason Rourke tomorrow afternoon. We are staying in the Clarion Hotel as are Mike & Lisa and the girls. Jeff & Danielle are at the Sheraton on the bay shore.
