Trip Log

November 22, 2012

We left Craig and Janet's this morning and headed off to Zach and Cathy's with 4 cooked turkeys and a ton of stuffing for a family Thanksgiving celebration. There were 22 people there to include Cathy's family, Tracy's family and Mike's family.

November 18, 2012

We left home Thursday morning just after 3AM to beat the I-95 traffic around DC and arrived in Brunswick, Ga before 4PM. It was a great trip and the new car was very comfortable.

November 14, 2012

Yesterday we had the new neighbors over for coffee. They are Riyadh and Shatha Ali from Baghdad. They left there in '05 for the safety of their 2 adult sons who live with them. They lived in Jordan at first then here for the last 3 years.

November 12, 2012

We had Bailey and Bridget Monday night and Tuesday since they didn't have school because of election day but their parents had to work. We had the realtor back to check the progress on the house, she was impressed with what we have done so far and said we could put the house up anytime.

November 4, 2012

Friday we had Empire install new carpet in 2 upstairs bedrooms, the upstairs hall and the stairs and it looks very nice.

November 1, 2012

It's November, don't forget to turn your clocks back this weekend. We only had about 15 TorTers last night. Don't know if it was due to Sandy or just that the neighborhood is getting older.

October 30, 2012

Sandy has come and gone. It rained all day yesterday but not real hard. It was windy all afternoon and night. We had no damage except for losing a roof on one of our birdfeeders. We lost power sometime after we went to bed and got it back about noon.

October 28, 2012

Sandy is on her way so I had to rearrange the garage so Alesa's car would fit and be protected. Notice the truck taking its chances with the upcoming weather. Don't expect much but a lot of rain and some wind but better safe than sorry.

October 15, 2012

On Tuesday we went to Car Sense, the local used car dealer, and got an idea of what was available in models.

October 9, 2012

On Saturday my youngest sister's youngest daughter was married in Meadville with a reception in Guys Mills. All of my siblings were there so it was a reunion of sorts and it was great to get caught up with relatives you don't see as much as you would like.
