Jeff and family came up Sunday and helped pack the trailer and we made some great progress. Today I finished all of the last minute stuff. It kept coming and coming so we are now using 16 feet of the trailer. Alesa spent the day cleaning the house so it is spick and span.

Friday I drove the Harley into the trailer and turned it around facing out. It was quite a task since the bike is longer than the trailer is wide. Yesterday Mike came over to help move the heavy stuff and he did more than that since all the heavy stuff is packed quite nicely into the trailer.

Last night we visited Jeff and family and I drove my motorcycle home. Now to figure the best way to secure it in the moving trailer. Again, it was hard to realize that it may be the last time we will visit their homes as Pa.

Last night we went to dinner at the Birchrunville Café with a close friend from Pep Boys days, Steve Nicolay and his wife Michelle. We had a great time and a wonderful meal. We recently reconnected with Steve and now wish we had done it a lot earlier.

The lanai is now screened in. We went over to Mike's to drop off some more stuff and for dinner and had a very nice time. It's hard to know that after next week they will not be so close.

We did continue to pack and prepare for the move but at a 'Sunday' pace which included a lot of watching the PGA championship. We also took a long walk to stretch our legs and get some exercise and walked around the neighborhood to check the progress on the 'burned' house.

They have installed all of the plumbing and most of the electrical, both inside and out. Not many problems so far; they made the glass blocks wall too high in the shower, a crack in the hot water heater pan and a broken piece of molding on the front door.

Today they were installing our medium hickory cabinets, countertops, guest shower tile, master shower glass blocks (they put in one row too many), master shower floor tile, A/C, shutters, garage door and opener. Last night we went to Schwed's for our weekly dominoes and dinner.

The concrete has been poured; driveway, sidewalk, front porch, lanai and back stoop. They also installed the glass in the front door and sidelite.

We got pictures of the painted house and the tiled floors so we felt we had better order the remaining appliances. So, that's just what we did and they will be delivered the day after we close on 9/4. We got a 31 cu. ft.
