Received more pictures from our realtor today and pulled out the plans to check measurements and make sure things will fit as we are planning. Also busy taking things apart for easier packing.

Friday the electrician rewired the hot tub (moved the box 6' away and ran the wire in a conduit). Permits and inspections cost as much as the material and labor.

Insulation was installed on Tuesday and they finished drywall late last night and Carol took pictures early this morning.

We received some more pictures from our realtor today. We continue to pack and I replaced a rear brake caliper in the truck and tonight was one of the last domino dinners with the Schweds.

Yesterday we left home at 4AM and drove to Ripley to attend Janet's mother's funeral. We arrived with 10 minutes to spare and enjoyed the time with Janet and Craig and family. We spent last night at Bob and Cathy's and left Erie at 11:30.

Yesterday they installed the windows and much of the electrical. Alesa and I walked in the morning with the Holdens, heat and all, and last night we went to Shannondel to visit with the Goodmans, eat dinner (prime rib and shrimp buffet) and attend a local production of "The Wizard of Oz".

Since Wade's house was under construction to get it ready to sell, I offered our house as a place for family and friends to gather to pay their respects for couple of hours this afternoon.

The framing is finished and the roof is shingled in Florida. In Exton, I installed smoke detectors and a metal cover over the attic access and Alesa took Bridget to Mike's to take her and the girls to a movie and then attend their swim meet.

Wade Collier was a member of our local veterans breakfast group and lived directly behind our house and across the street. He was a P38 pilot in the South Pacific during WWII and had plenty of interesting stories. I was helping him get his house ready to sell and we became friends.

They have begun inside work, yahoo! Yesterday we had the U&O (use and occupancy) inspection on 607 and had no big problems. Have to add two smoke detectors in the basement and a fire retardant cover (sheet metal) on the pull down stairs in the garage and we will be up to code.
