Trip Log

May 12, 2012

This was Bridget's birthday week, she turned 9 on Wednesday. We went to her house on Saturday because they had a family celebration and we will pick her up tonight for her birthday weekend.

May 3, 2012

It has been two weeks since we posted and we have been pretty busy with everyday stuff. They extended Agent Orange exposure to the time I was flying near the Korean DMZ so I stopped in to start the works to see if I was affected.

April 19, 2012

Saturday night we played dominoes with the Schweds until late and Sunday was a day of rest. Alesa got some kind of bug bite near her eye and it was a little swollen and I had a broken vessel so we were both a sight of sore eyes. We are both better now.

April 14, 2012

Today we had 'Purple Heart' stop over to pick up some donations and the downsizing continues.

April 10, 2012

We had both families over on Easter Eve for our Easter celebration. We had a great meal, a long walk and the kids played outside while the parents ate more and watched TV.

April 6, 2012

We have been busy catching up with yard and house work. On Tuesday Jeff and Danielle had to work but Bailey and Bridget had off of school so we went down early in the morning and spent the day.

April 2, 2012

Arrived home at 3 PM Saturday, unpacked the trailer, set up most of the house and got a good nights sleep.

March 31, 2012

We are camping in Waynesboro next to the Purple Cow restaurant. Last night we visited with Alesa's Aunt Mary, her son Mike and his wife Ruth.

March 29, 2012

We drove into Virginia and stopped where I-81 and I-77 cross at the Fort Chiswell RV Park. It was empty when we got here at 1 but is now quite full of overnighters. We seem to be chasing spring north as we see bare trees on the mountaintops and blossoms and leaves in the valleys.

March 29, 2012

Last night we visited with a couple from Liverpool, Dave and Joan, who have a son living in Viet Nam and a daughter living in Australia. They have a condo in Sarasota and were storing their trailer in the Chattanooga area before heading home. Very interesting and international
