Miss Ellie graduated from 6th grade yesterday and next year she will attend middle school.
Trip Log
Monday will be my 65th birthday so Mike and Jeff decided to take me to the Smithsonian Air & Space museum annex next to DC's Dulles airport.
Last night was Ellie and Anni's spring concert. They have become young ladies and did a very nice job. Ellie will be graduating next week then on to middle school next year. We continue to keep busy working around the house and yard.
Yesterday rain was forecast so we took a day off from working around the house and rode into the middle of the state to see if it was a place where we might want to live. We stopped by Cabela's to use a Christmas gift card.
Our oldest granddaughter will be 12 on Friday so this was her birthday weekend. We picked her up last night and she and Alesa went shopping at our local mall then home to watch Harry Potter. Today we took her horseback riding.
Alesa took Bridget shopping when we got home from the Bat Cave and she wanted a journal that will only open with your voice saying a password that you record. It also has a secret compartment that requires a different password. She had fun playing with it.
We picked Bridget up last night and this morning we headed out to Woodward's Cave east of State College.
This was Bridget's birthday week, she turned 9 on Wednesday. We went to her house on Saturday because they had a family celebration and we will pick her up tonight for her birthday weekend.
It has been two weeks since we posted and we have been pretty busy with everyday stuff. They extended Agent Orange exposure to the time I was flying near the Korean DMZ so I stopped in to start the works to see if I was affected.
Saturday night we played dominoes with the Schweds until late and Sunday was a day of rest. Alesa got some kind of bug bite near her eye and it was a little swollen and I had a broken vessel so we were both a sight of sore eyes. We are both better now.
