We left Alpine and went through Fort Davis and wound through the Davis mountains by the McDonald Observatory. We picked up I10 and then followed the Rio Grande to El Paso. We decided we had enough of big cities so decided not to stay in El Paso but went through Las Cruces to Deming, New Mexico.

This morning we walked to the east of the campground to the river. We saw javelinas (peccaries, pig-like), jackrabbits, roadrunners, odd insects and birds. We left camp at about 11 and drove to Alpine, about 130 miles. We arrived at the Lost Alaskan RV park at about 2. We had some rain while

We like the RV park we are in so much that we decided to visit and stay another night. I (Jerry) had spoken with my Dad on Tuesday and said we would visit him in Denton in 2 or 3 days. We have already made reservations at Post Oak Place in Denton for Friday and Saturday night. Today we slept l

We traveled on 90 - 271 - 71 and stopped north of Cincinnati at dinnertime to rest and miss the rush hour traffic. One of the tires on the RV looked low and I checked the pressure and it was about half of what it should have been. We went to the next exit and filled the tire but saw the head o
